Abstract
This document describes the establishment of a Community Service Department at Nur University for the promotion and monitoring of small scale social service projects executed by university students. Although this Department has been established at Nur University in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, there is no reason to believe that a similar endeavor could not inspire other universities around the country.
