Abstract
This paper aims to provide a detailed assessment of my role and contributions to an advocacy campaign with the Center for the Advancement of the Steady State Economy (CASSE). This organization is a non-profit with a low budget comprised mainly of volunteers with the exception of a paid Executive Director. We focus mainly on generating awareness among the general public on the flaws and negative impacts of the growth economy on the environment and its failure to create a just society. As an alternative, CASSE proposes a steady state economy, one based in the principles of ecological economics.
