Abstract

This paper examines and demonstrates methods for incorporating remedial and preventative pronunciation activities in a musical atmosphere. Included are classroom observations made as the author experimented with different musical, acting, movement, and pronunciation activities with a group of international students in an Intensive English Program (IEP). Implications for use of this paper are considered in terms of advantages and ideas for teachers who would like to incorporate more music into their classrooms.
