Abstract

This training on team building will help participants identify elements of effective teams as well as nine methods for building effective teams. Three vehicles were used in addition to the content pieces; those were a case study, a trust walk, and a dialogue activity. The content researched by the trainers was an addition and gave more background in addition to the information generated by the participants. The purpose of this training was to increase the participants' understanding of how to build effective teams. The goal was to give the participants methods to facilitate team building. The objectives were for the participants to have experienced and be able to use two team building activities, to have a resource of methods and activities for building effective teams, and to understand at least three characteristics of effective teams.
