Abstract

The mediation model used predominantly in North America has been found to be based on many cultural biases and culture-bound assumptions. Therefore, the intent of this training design is to help participants recognize and identify the differences and between Western and traditional models of mediation-how each one is useful in its own context and functions to achieve resolution.
