Abstract

This topic was chosen for the training as a consequence of the need for American Students to be aware of problems they will encounter in a multicultural environment such as a university. It is important that this training be included during regular orientation at the beginning of the school year. The training is important because students need to be aware of differences among international students. It will enable them to form friendships, to avoid conflicts, to avoid frustrations and to avoid miscommunication with international students. This training will also help American students to create opportunities and begin networking concerning their future professions. In addition to all of these, it will help both American students and international students be aware of differences among individuals and groups.
