Abstract

This training is intended to be a training for managers for a multicultural organization. Managers working on a multicultural team should be a role of a facilitator who bridges cultural diversity of team members. Managers have to create "common ground" with the team where every member is equal and shares tasks or responsibilities. In order to create "the common ground," managers themselves first need to know the importance of accepting the diversity and the value of mutual understanding. Throughout this training, participants will better understand cultural diversity and different perceptions of individuals. Participants will also experience the process of building new norms for a multicultural team and creating strategies to overcome problems from the diversity. Then participants finally will be able to gain clearly the concept of "common ground" as a future multicultural manager.
