Abstract
The thesis product is a Teacher Manual/Text for the seminar course, Methods and Techniques of Field Study Seminar (MTFSS) for the School for International Training's College Semester Abroad (CSA) program.
The purpose of the manual is to provide a basic text/teaching tool for CSA Academic Directors which will facilitate the teaching of the Methods and Techniques of Field Study Seminar. This is a 30 hour curriculum which must adequately cover, and maintain an appropriate balance between, the two areas covered by MTFSS: cultural adaptation and field study methodology.
