Abstract
This paper is a comparative analysis of various approaches taken by Palestinian NGOs in the field of sustainable agricultural development to achieve food security, as defined by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. This research is limited in scope to activities of five NGOs in Palestine, with a focus on activities primarily implemented in the West Bank. The most common challenges faced by the select NGOs are highlighted as are the most successful projects, as defined by individual NGO staff.
