Abstract
This research examined client interest in incorporating holistic health care in the provision of abortion and gynecology services at the Concord Feminist Health Center (CFHC). An action research methodology was used to conduct a needs assessment among existing CFHC clients. A convenience sample of 142 abortion and gynecology respondents completed a Holistic Health Survey through CFHC. Findings demonstrated significant interest among both client groups for holistic care. 75% of clients reported interest in a holistic approach to health. 71% of gynecology patients and 49% of abortion clients reported that their experience at CFHC would be enhanced by adding holistic services.
