Abstract
The purpose of this training is to orient volunteers to the refugee resettlement process in order to effectively work with newly arrived refugee families through the Brattleboro Refugee Resettlement Agency. This training is intended to be the first of a series of trainings to equip volunteers with the necessary tools to assist refugee families with day-to-day life in their new community. Volunteers will have the opportunity to acquire this information through simulations, lecturettes, brainstorming activities and group discussion with a former refugee.
