Abstract
This training on storytelling is intended to provide a fun and emotionally safe way for individuals to share a story that is important to them through the use of a memory device (in this case, a Wampum Belt). This training includes trainer modeling, opportunities for brainstorming and group information seeking, the history of the Wampum Belt, individual work time, story sharing, story feedback, and an introduction to the importance of songwriting and performance as an avenue for storytelling.
