Abstract
Everyday conflicts occur on every corner of the world. These conflicts occur on various levels including personal, interpersonal, group and international. One issue in today's world is how to transform conflicts to better coexist in an increasingly diverse world. Conflict transformation through music is a humane approach. Since music has reconciling and healing power, more and more conflict transformation practitioners use music to transform conflict. More specifically, collaborative musical experiences create emotion, which is what is needed in conflicting situations.
