Abstract
Purpose: " To support participants in becoming more artful in today's multicultural world. Goals: " To enable participants to gain a greater self-awareness around the issues of leading and leadership. " To give the participants room to develop and apply new/creative ways of leading in the world today. Objectives: After this session, PWBAT " Create a personal definition of a "multicultural world." " Identify and discuss their values, thoughts and feelings associated with positions of leadership. " Appreciate the value of self-awareness and its impact on others when leading. " Comprehend the benefits of applying artful, reflective approaches to future leadership positions. After careful consideration and discussion, we chose to do an affective training focusing on participants' hearts. It was our intention that the participants would walk away from our training with a greater sense of how they lead in a multicultural world.
