Abstract
Disaster training is imperative for everyone, everywhere and at anytime in the world. Disaster training often fails to make any mention of the importance of being culturally sensitive when providing disaster relief. Providing disaster assistance is a complex job. Being culturally sensitive can be the difference between providing effective assistance or ineffective assistance. The focus of this training is to increase the participant's ability at being culturally sensitive when providing disaster assistance.
