Abstract
With the influx of immigrants in late 90s from non -European and non-English speaking countries, and with marriages taking place between individuals from different nationalities, one can see the U.S. society emerging as more diverse and multicultural than ever before. There is already a dominant U.S. American White population existing in the society. To enable all the children from diverse background as well as from the U.S. American White families to grow mentally and physically in a safe and comfortable environment, it is very important that they receive support and role models from school, peers, parents and the society at large. Hence, this training is developed for any individuals involved with the lives of children to stress the importance of multicultural education in the United States.
