Journal of Critical Global Issues
About This Journal
The Journal of Critical Global Issues is the flagship journal of the School for International Training (SIT). The Journal of Critical Global Issues is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that contributes to SIT’s mission to educate future scholars and professionals in diverse settings to address the most critical global issues in pursuit of a more sustainable, peaceful, and just world. The Journal of Critical Global Issues aspires to support respectful communities, foster intercultural understanding, advocate for social justice and inclusion, and promote sustainability.
The journal publishes articles in English and Spanish. Its multilingual nature responds and contributes to the epistemological importance of research on critical global issues from diverse geographic and linguistic contexts. We are especially interested in work that focuses on the following areas: climate and the environment; development and inequality; education and social change; geopolitics and power; global health and well-being; identity and human resilience; and peace and justice.
